Real Madrid to make a shocking swoop for QPR keeper Julio Cesar

Daily Mirror informs that Real Madrid are hot on the chase of Queens Park Rangers goalie Julio Cesar.

The Meringues’ boss Jose Mourinho is desperately looking for the replacement to the first-choice stalwarts Iker Casillas who has injured hand in Real Madrid 1-1 draw with Valencia.

The 33-year-old QPR goalkeeper Julio Cesar played under Mourinho at Inter Milan and is reportedly topping Real Madrid’s shopping list in January transfer window as the team is preparing for the Champions’ League knockout round clash against Man Utd next month.

QPR boss Harry Redknapp is rumoured to be interested in offloading either Green or Julio Cesar to reduce payroll and rebuild the relegation-threated team.
