Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez is confident he will see Modric playing for his team next season

The midfielder is one of the most wanted playmakers in Europe with Chelsea, Manchester United and PSG following the Croatian.

Yet Florentino Pérez announced recently he was sure the Spanish club would get the deal. Modric has already decided to come to Madrid and only the details of the agreement are to be settled. The approximate fee for the player last summer was £40m but Pérez hopes to reduce the price.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas claimed recently that the midfielder might leave the club.

The Portuguese coach noted that he respected ambitions of the player and his willingness to progress.
