Real Madrid set to seal Isco transfer in the near future

Real Madrid set to seal Isco transfer in the near future

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez revealed Malaga playmaker Isco will join them in the near future, after highly-rated player agreed to make a switch to Santiago Bernabeu instead of Etihad.

Isco was reluctant to discuss his future plans after European Under-21 Championship, where he impressed both the fans and the pundits with his outstanding performances. However recent rumours suggested the 21-year-old had offers from Real Madrid and Manchester City at his table, with the Citizens considered to be favourites to secure his services as Isco has been reportedly keen on playing under his former boss Manuel Pellegrini.

Now it looks like Isco is on his way to Madrid, after admitting the joining La Liga giants would be an ‘exciting option’.

Florentino Perez said: “There is an agreement with the club [Malaga] and the player. Isco will be presented next week, all he needs is to overcome the medical examination.”

Should the deal go through, Isco will sign a five-year contract with an option of extending the deal for one more year.
