Recent Transfer Rumours: Balotelli out, Falcao in at Man City

There are several months to go until January transfer window opens, but intensive rumors continue circulating during the transfer break.

Several Italian clubs are stepping up in their interest in 29-year-old Óscar Cardozo. Juventus and Fiorentina are among the clubs that will try to land the €20 million-rated Paraguayan. Chelsea and Atletico are also keeping the eye on the player.

Former French international Nicholas Anelka is to leave Shanghai Shenhua FC in the nearest future. 33-year-old forward is allegedly the transfer target for West Ham. ‘Big Sam’ is also said to be interested in snapping up out-of-favor Liverpool midfielder Joe Cole for reduced price, with Lille is also said to be monitoring the situation.

Frank Lampard is another high-profile player to be linked with a move to China. Chelsea veteran midfielder is reportedly in talks with Guizhou Renhe over possible move in January.

Never ending transfer saga between Wesley Sneijder and Man Utd acquired a new lease of life after the rumors that Sir Alex is ready to table around €20 million for Dutch midfielder. Polish international forward Robert Lewandowski along with defenders Brede Hangeland (Fulham) and Philippe Mexès (Milan) are also tipped as possible January transfer targets for Red Devils.

According to recent speculation Milan, Juventus, Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund are inclined to lure Montpellier star defender Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa.

30-year-old Russian striker Roman Pavlyuchenko and 22-year-old Spanish attacker Bojan Krkić are linked with a move to Monaco owned by a Russian billionaire Dmitry Rybolovlev.

AC Milan and Inter are said to battle over the signature of Mario Balotelli, who was dropped out of Man City squad by Mancini in the match against Spurs last weekend. Italian manager in turn is trying to beat Chelsea to the signature of €46 million-rated Radamel Falcao from Atlético de Madrid.
