Reid clinched new deal with West Ham

West Ham centre-back Winston Reid put pen to paper on a new long-term deal that will keep him at club for at least 2015.

The 24-year-old New Zealand international has joined the Hammers from Midtjylland for an undisclosed fee in 2010 and has established himself as a key member of first team. Reid has made 33 Premier League appearances this season, scoring one goal.

Reid revealed he is happy to have signed a new deal with the club. He said: “I’ve really enjoyed being here. It’s a good club and we’ve done really well over the last couple of years. Now, I’m looking forward to the next two years.

“I think I have played some good football over the last two years but that goes for the whole team as well. Hopefully we can continue that. Of course we now plan to build on the last two seasons,” he added.
