Robin Van Persie’s saga continues

This week Arsenal striker will meet Arsene Wenger to discuss his possible transfer.

The player claimed earlier that he did not want to stay in Arsenal, causing wave of harsh criticism from the club’s supporters and stirring high interest to his personality from top European clubs. Van Persie has just come back from holidays and the club’s officials will hold talks with him in few days.

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini had already expressed his desire to see the forward in his squad.
It is still unclear where Van Persie would play in the forthcoming season. Recently Paris St Germain manager Carlo Ancelotti dismissed the possibility of Persie joining the French side. The Italian coach claimed that the player is not a transfer target for his team.

There are also reports on possible move of the Dutch player to Barcelona, Real Madrid or Juventus. The Italian team is highly interested in the striker and is ready to make a concrete offer to the Gunners.
