Roma terminates contract with Sheikh investment company

The Capital side claims the investor failed to provide cash.

The preliminary agreement between the Giallorossi and Sheikh Adnan Adel Aref al Qaddumi al Shtewi was signed on 24 February. According to the contract the investor pledged to provide €50m by March 14, yet the company did not perform the transaction.

”The Prospective Partner has not consummated the investment, there is no agreement in place to extend the deadline for closing the transaction and the preliminary agreement with the Prospective Partner should be considered terminated,” the club informed in an official statement.
