Serie A results: Torino 0-2 Juventus and other matches

Vidal and Marchision scored in the dying stages of the game to bring Juventus a 2-0 victory over bitter rivals Torino at Stadio Olimpico.

With the defending champions clearly dominating the game, struggling Torino created few chances, but the poor finishing meant they were not able to convert them into goals. Arturo Vidal scored from 25 yards in the 86 minutes to give the visiting side a lead, while Marchisio rounded off Juve’s victory in the stoppage time.

Juventus continued their impressive run of form to record a seventh successive victory and come close to claiming the Serie A title for the second time in two years. They need just a draw in against Palermo next week to be crowned Sere A champions.

Elsewhere Fiorentina boosted their chances of finishing in the Champions League zone by beating Sampdoria 3-0, while Milan thrashed Catania 4-2.
