Shawcross to extend his deal with Stoke City

According to Goal.com Stoke City centre back Ryan Shawcross will put his paper on a new long-term deal in the near future.

The Potters coach confirmed that the club is in talks with the 25 year-old skipper over the extension of his deal which will keep him at The Britannia Stadium at least for three more years. “We are very close to doing a deal with Ryan,” said Pulis last weekend.

Shawcross has been an integral part of the tenacious Stoke City defense from 2007, after he joined the club from Man Utd.
He has made 17 appearances this season so far.
