Sneijder refuses to renew contract with Inter

Dutch midfielder Wesley Sneijder revealed that he does not wish to extend his current deal with Inter.

It is to be recalled that Inter coach Andrea Stramaccioni has decided to leave the 28 year-old Dutchman out of the first team, unless he extends his contract. According to the media reports, Sneijder is urged to accept a cut to his £200,000 p/w salary if he wants to stay at the club.

Sneijder is reportedly unhappy with the current situation and there could be cause for speculation as to whether he will remain at the club much longer.

Man Utd have been linked with a move for a Dutchman. However Sir Alex Ferguson was reluctant to make a bid due to the high wages Sneijder would demand.
