Solskjaer: Giggs ready to succeed Ferguson

Solskjaer: Giggs ready to succeed Ferguson

Manchester United legendary striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer revealed his former teammate Ryan Giggs has what it takes to take charge of Man Utd after Sir Alex Ferguson decides to retire.

Solskjaer, who is currently managing Norwegian side Molde, has been linked with Manchester United job himself after starting his coaching career with the Red Devils’ reserve team.

However ‘the baby-faced assassin’ revealed that he considers Giggs to be ready to replace Fergie. “He’s looking at that United job for himself, Giggsy. He’s got top potential. Giggsy is going to play another year, but I’d say he’s got his eyes and ears open more to what the manager is doing.”

“I’ve said it before that my dream is to manage Man United. That’s tongue in cheek, really, because it’s a massive job - the biggest job in the world,” he added.
