Southampton are close to snapping Celtic ace Wanyama, but Arsenal, Inter and Liverpool could hijack the deal
Southampton are on the verge of signing highly-rated Celtic midfielder Victor Wanyama for £10million, but could face a bidding war from the side of several top European clubs.
The Saints are believed to have agreed on transfer fee however Arsenal, Inter and Liverpool could interfere and steal the player from under Saints’ noses.
The 21-year-old Kenyan has joined the Hoops from Belgian side Beerschot for £900,000 in 2011. He has since established himself as a form first-choice player, making in excess of 60 appearances for the club. Wanyama has only one year left on his contract and Celtic have decided to cash in on their player, instead of risking losing him for free next year.
