Swansea eye switch for Chelsea Lukaku

Swansea boss Michael Laudrup is hot on the trail of Chelsea towering forward Romelu Lukaku, who has spent an impressive season on loan at West Brom.

The 19-year-old Belgium international revealed he does not like to sit on the bench at Chelsea and would prefer moving on loan to a club qualified for Europe rather than spending yet another season with WBA. Lukaku’s 13 goals helped WBA to reach respectable Premier League position this season, although they are unlikely to finish in the Europa league zone.

Laudrup is a long-term admirer of Lukaku, and Swansea’s qualification to Europe via claiming Capital One Cup title means Lukaku may be tempted with a move to the Liberty Stadium.
