Swansea plan to land for up to six players in summer

Swansea City assistant manager Alan Curtis revealed the Welsh side is seriously considering the possibility of bringing up to six players in summer in a bid to strengthen all the problem positions.

Swansea are enjoying the illustrious season under Michael Laudrup, after claiming the Capital One Cup title for the first time in their history. They are currently sitting comfortably in the 9th place in the Premier League, despite losing the motivation to try and finish as high as possible, as they will play in Europe as the winners of the major domestic tournament.

Alan Curtis said Laudrup has already made a list of the transfer targets, which will be brought to Swansea irrespective of the club’s final Premier League position. He said: “It’s important to buy players, irrespective of where you finish. We will have to satisfy the players terms-wise but I would say we’ll sign quite a few. We could sign up to six players in the summer if we can.”
