Swansea Routledge signs new deal

Swansea Routledge signs new deal

Daily Mail reports that Swansea winger Wayne Routledge has committed his future to the club by signing three-and-a-half-year deal with the Welsh side.

Despite the fact that the 28-year-old had 18 months left on his contract, the Swansea hierarchy decided to reward him with a new lucrative deal after the string of impressive performances this season.

Routledge had unsuccessful spells with seven clubs (including Tottenham and Newcastle) before joining Swansea in 2011. Currently he seems to be enjoying his football under Michael Laudrup. He has made 22 appearances this season scoring 5 goals and setting up another 4.
