Swansea set to sign Betis Canas on a free transfer

Swansea agreed signing midfielder Jose Canas on a free transfer from Real Betis.

The 26-year-old Spaniard’s contract with the La Liga club is set to expire on July 1, and he decided to choose a move to a Premier League club over extending his deal with Betis.

The midfielder is expected to join the Swans on a three-year deal. Canas has been an integral element of the side reached Europa League play-off spot this season, making 29 appearances and setting up one goal.
