Swansea target Betis Canas

Swansea are willing to snap up Betis star Jose Canas on a free transfer in summer in order to add some iron to their midfield.

Canas’ contract is set to expire in summer and the Welsh side has reportedly reached a pre-contract agreement with the Spaniard for his move to the Liberty Stadium. The 25-year-old midfielder is set to join the Swans on a three-year deal, starting from the 1st of July, after rejecting contract offer from WBA.

Tough tackling Canas is known for his ability to break down oppositions’ attack and is considered as an ideal addition to a somewhat fragile Swansea midfield line. Canas has been playing an integral part in Betis’ successes, who are battling for a Europa League spot.
