Szczesny believes Arsenal is stronger than last season

Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny says the team will challenge trophies this season.

The player appreciated the arrival of Podolski to the team, underlying that his goal record was impressive. He added that Arsenal ‘is strong in the offensive line, and team managers have been doing some incredible work with the defense. That seems to be working very well. It makes all the players believe we’ll be a little bit stronger.’

The goalkeeper stated that Arsenal always had one aim – winning trophies. He admitted that the club and the players were disappointed because they did not clinch a trophy last seasons, yet Szczesny was confident Arsenal would hunt titles in the upcoming campaign.

The Polish player also noted that Arsenal made ‘a number of quality signings already’ and they would help the team to fight for trophies.
