Tottenham prepared to sell Bale for £60m

According to Mirror Tottenham coach André Villas-Boas told Real Madrid that they may sell their Welsh star Gareth Bale. However they are unlikely to settle for anything less than £60 million.

Real Madrid have reportedly made an initial offer worth about £33 million was dismissed by the Spurs. However Real Madrid are said to be ready to make Tottenham the second offer they cannot refuse. The Meringues’s defender Fábio Coentrão could be included as part of the deal.

Tottenham could spend the money acquired from the departure of Bale in order to sign in-demand Newcastle forward Demba Ba.
