Tottenham to snap up Liverpool target Paul Ince

Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas is seriously considers signing highly-rated Blackpool winger Thomas Ince, to steal a march on Liverpool.

The 21-year-old player was widely expected to sign for Liverpool in January, but Championship side rejected the transfer fee of £5.5 million offered by the Reds. Blackpool president played a hardball on the deal, refusing to answer Brendan Rodgers’ calls.

Tottenham were closely monitoring the situation with the talented player and now decided to try and lure the player to the White Hart Lane. The Spurs are known for offering a comfortable environment for players to develop, - their record of success with players from Championship (Bale, Walker, Lennon) will probably convince Ince to join them.
