Champions League title holders, Chelsea, recorded a high-scoring 4-0 win against Champions League newcomers FC Nordsjælland at Parken Stadium. Juan Mata gave the start, netting an opener on 33rd minute and added one more, along with Ramires and David Luiz in the last 11 minutes. So Roberto di Matteo’s men recorded.

Group F

Valencia CF got their three points after UEFA Champions League Group F match against LOSC Lille that ended with a 2-0 win.

FC BATE Borisov claimed the most stunning result of Tuesday’s evening smashing FC Bayern München 3-1. Aleksandr Pavlov’s opener found the net on 23rd minute and Vitali Rodionov doubled the lead on 78 minutes. Franck Ribery responded in the first minute of injury time and Renan Bressan immediately reaffirmed the Belarusian champions’ triumph striking right before the whistle. Thuswise BATE is placed on the top of the group with two wins from their two opening matches.

Group G

Georgios Samaras’s dramatic last-minute header secured Celtic’s narrow 3-2 win at Spartak Moscow, who suffered a second loss in a row.

Alexis Sánchez and Cesc Fàbregas scored in each half and ensured a 2-0 win for FC Barcelona at the expense of SL Benfica. Everything was good about the match but for Barca’s captain Carles Puyol, who suffered an elbow injury late in the second half.

Group H

Manchester United FC earned their second successive win in the group via Robin van Persie’s two goals. Romanian side CFR 1907 Cluj took the lead before the half-hour mark and the Dutchman went on serving like United’s mascot as he leveled the score and netted a second.

Tuesday’s night was not a lucky one for Galatasaray AŞ as they were beaten 0-2 by the Portuguese side SC Braga. Rúben Micael scored first half goal and Alan stroke in the injury time.
