UEFA Champions League third qualifying round results

Debrecen and BATE Borisov drew 1-1 in their first leg of UEFA Champions League third qualifying round edition.

Ibrahim Sidibe scored in the middle of the second half and Debrecen took the lead. Belarusian team stood to benefit from Sidibe scoring into their own net, and go to Nyiregyhaza for the second leg the next week.

Debutants Hapoel Kiryat Shmona FC met home success defeating Neftci PFK 4-0 in their first-leg.

GNK Dinamo Zagreb scored the only goal of their first leg in the third qualifying round against FC Sheriff. Fatos Beqiraj put the team ahead in the 14th minute.

Molde FK lost to FC Basel 0-1. Basel took the lead after Jacques Zoua scored the 79th-minute goal.

Vouho scored in the 13th minute to secure AEL Limassol FC win over FK Partizan 1-0.

Anderlecht is likely to move to play-off with the biggest win over FK Ekranas 5-0. Dieumerci Mbokani made a good showing scoring a goal in each half.

FC Copenhagen played a goalless draw with Club Brugge KV and Fenerbahce did not manage to outperform Vaslui 1-1. Fenerbahce scored a saving equalizer in the 90th minute.

Celtic FC beat HJK Helsinki 2-1 at home ground in Glasgow. In the first leg of UEFA Champions League third round qualifier the Finnish Rasmus Schüller opened the scoring but Gary Hooper and Charlie Mulgrew scored two goals that gave Celtic a narrow lead.

NK Maribor had a confident 4-1 win over Dudelange in the first leg of UEFA Champions League third round qualifier at their home ground. Dejan Mezga and Marcos Tavares registered two scores in the first half, after the break Mezga struck again and Robert Beric was the last to score.

The Swedish Helsingborg IF had an impressive 3-0 win against WKS Slask in Poland.

CFR Cluj outperformed Slovan Liberec with slender difference 1-0. Ricardo Cadu’s scored the 53-minute penalty in their first leg.
