Unai Emery takes charge of Sevilla

Former Valencia and Spartak Moscow manager accepted the offer to coach the Spanish side

Sevilla parted its way with Míchel after a string of poor results with the team standing 12 in the table and losing on Sunday to Valencia 2-0.
At the press-conference on Monday Unai Emery was introduced as a new head of the team. The manager signed a contract till the end of the current season and for the following campaign.

The president of the team José María Del Nido claimed that most team’s “problems have been identified and solved, but some have not and because of that we have seen a good Sevilla and a bad one.”

Michel was selected as Sevilla manager in February 2012 leading the side to the ninth place in his first campaign.
