United to bid for Barcelona Fabregas

Newly-appointed Manchester United boss David Moyes is hot on the chase of Barcelona playmaker Cesk Fabregas in a bid to strengthen the otherwise weak midfield.

Moyes is looking to reunite Fabregas with former Arsenal man Robin van Persie in what could be a stunning summer transfer.

The 26-year-old Spaniard is unsettled at Camp Nou, two years after making a switch to his childhood club from Arsenal, and is seriously considering the possibility of returning back to Premier League.

Barcelona are reportedly ready to part ways with player for around £30 million and Moyes, who is a long-term admirer of Fabregas, considers this to be a good bargain. Manchester City are also monitoring the situation with the player.

Despite Arsenal having included an option of £25m buy-back clause in his Barcelona contract, they are unlikely to try and lure him at the Emirates stadium, as he has almost forced his move out of Arsenal.
