Van Persie had talks with Juventus?

Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport announced the Dutch forward of Arsenal, Robin van Persie, visited Turin last week where he had negotiations with the local Juventus.

28-year-old forward got a good contract offer as well as a bonus of having number 10 on his Juventus shirt which has belonged to the legendary Bianconeri forward Alessandro Del Piero for 19 years.

The Turin club is reported to pay van Persie 6 million euros a year which is much higher compared to what he gets now in England. In addition, Italian taxes are not that high, so in case the footballer joins Juve, he will make much more money than he does now in Arsenal.
