Van Persie: ‘I feel this is the perfect match’

Van Persie: ‘I feel this is the perfect match’

Robin Van Persie was introduced to Manchester fans.

At the press conference Manchester United head coach Sir Alex Ferguson said Van Persie turned down other offers, deciding to play for United. The manager claimed that the player’s talents need no particular introduction to The Red Devils supporters, adding: ‘His movement, finishing and all-round ability are simply outstanding.’ Ferguson also revealed he never thought about signing the player, because he was convinced Arsenal would sell him.
The Dutch striker said he is looking forward to be a part of the great team and to claim the titles. He was sure he and Manchester is a perfect match, as ‘Manchester United breathes football. If you look at all the players from the club, the stadium, the head coach - my choice was made very soon in my mind.’

And finally this saga is over. He should thank Wenger for letting him go.

Good news the attitude to football is much more professional up in Manchester than in the capital, if we can trust the boy :)
