Vidić to play against Sunderland
Man Ud coach Sir Alex Ferguson revealed that Serbian defender Nemanja Vidić is set to be recalled to the starting eleven against Sunderland following his long-term spell out of action.
30 year-old Vidić has made just 4 appearances this season and spent almost entire last season on the sildeines. Fergie is assured that Vidić could help Man Utd to fix the defensive problems. “It would have been crazy to play him against City but against Sunderland…definitely,” said Fergie. “It’s a big bonus to have him back. He is a real competitor with that uncompromising way of his. He likes defending - that’s what it is.”
