Walcott wants to win trophies with the Gunners
Arsenal pacey striker Theo Walcott revealed he would exchange all his personal achievements for a major domestic title on short notice.
The 24-year-old England international has spent an impressive first half of the season, and was rewarded for a professionalism and commitment with a lucrative contract offer by Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger. He has made his 250th appearances in Arsenal shirt against Sunderland. However Arsenal face the eighth season without winning trophies and Walcott is determined to put an end to this disappointing run.
He said: “I would personally take all of my appearances away to win something at this club. Some people may think I’m mad but I think I’m not selfish. I like to think for the club and the fans. Appearances are great but winning things means more. Hopefully next season, when I hopefully reach 300 appearances, there will be a trophy on the end of that. That’s the biggest target.”
