We will win without Klose says Lazio president
Claudio Lotito is confident Lazio will compete for the top place finish.
The Biancocelesti forward Miroslav Klose was sidelined for two months after sustaining knee ligament damage in Sunday’s match against Genoa. But Lazio president assured the Italian press that the team will keep on fighting for the Champions League spot even without the German striker.
Lotito claimed: “We have won a lot of matches without Klose, so we will see what happens. “
“As long as we’re in a position to be competitive at the end of the campaign, who knows what will happen,” he added.
Klose scored 10 goals in 20 fixtures, helping the side to reach the third place in the table, yet the striker is likely to miss the games against Milan, Napoli and Fiorentina.
