West Ham to hold onto Tomkins
West Ham boss Sam Allardyce has ruled out the sale of his centre-back James Tomkins who has been recently linked with a move to Newcastle.
The Magpies are desperately trying to strengthen the weak spots in their squad. Although in the beginning of the January transfer window signing the striker is their priority, today with the news that several key players are determined to leave the club it seems that almost any line of the team is in need of new quality additions. Ben Arfa has openly revealed he wants to move to PSG, Colloccini said he wants to return to Argentina because of the ‘personal issues’ etc.
Newcastle boss Alan Pardew has set his sights on adding West Ham James Tomkins to his squad. However Big Sam told that the Hummers experience the lack of options at the back due to the injury crisis with Tomkins, Demel and Reid being only available for the next West Ham clash against Queens Park of Saturday.
Allardyce revelaed that he allows his centre-back leave for anything less than £15 million.
