West Ham target Blackburn Rhodes

West Ham boss Sam Allardyce is seriously considering the possibility of singing Blackburn goal scoring sensation Jordan Rhodes.

‘Big Sam’ is rumoured to be a long-term admirer of the Scotland international and tried to snap up the player when he was playing at Huddersfield, however was scared away by a high transfer fee.

Since his arrival at the Ewood Park for £8million from Huddersfield, Rhodes has netted 23 goals in 38 appearances despite his team having a poor season. Although Allardyce is unlikely to give Blackburn their money back, he may tempt Venky with a decent offer as the Blackburn owners are seeking to balance their books. Rhodes himself is thought to be keen on moving to a Premier League club.
