West Ham target Blackburn Robinson

According to Daily Mail West Ham boss Sam Allardyce is hot on the trail of Blackburn goalkeeper Paul Robinson whom he has worked with between 2008 and 2010 as he was in charge of the Rovers.

Big Sam is reportedly prepared to offer his young reserve stopper Stephen Henderson for the 33-year-old goalie in a part-exchange deal.

The former England international Robinson is believed to be frustrated with the lack of first-team football at Ewood Park, as new Blackburn manager Michael Appleton prefers using youngster Jake Kean between the sticks.

Should the deal go through, this allows Allardyce increasing the competition in the goalkeeping position at the Boleyn Ground.
