Wigan target Spartak McGeady

Daily Mail reports that Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez is seriously considering a possibility of making a loan move for Spartak Moscow’s star Aiden McGeady.

The 26-year-old Republic of Ireland international McGeady is reportedly keen on a switch to the Premier League and Martinez is prepared to offer him a chance to prove himself at a higher level. However Spartak are unlikely to release one of their key players and are unlikely to settle for anything less than € 7.500.000.

McGeady has made 53 appearances scoring 8 goals since joining the Russian side in 2010.
