World Cup 2014 qualification: fixtures

Qualification to the World Cup in Brazil enters the final stages as the national teams play on Friday and Tuesday.

Group A
Serbia lost the chances for Brazil but the tence relations between the countries promises a vivid game. Gareth Bale will likely play his first game of the season in Macedonia. Belgium’s bright squad are heading to Scotland in a bid to break adrift the rivals in the group.

Group B
Italy will all but qualify in case of winning against runners-up Bulgaria in Palermo.
The Czech Republic and Denmark have good chances to get points necessary for a second spot.

Group C
As Germany does not seem to experience any problems in the group, Ireland will host Sweden in Dublin.

Group D
Hungary are heading to Bucharest for the crucial clash with Romania as Netherlands ease through to Brazil.

Group E
The most complicated group as all the teams still have chances of qualifying. Switzerland are the likely World Championship participants though.

Norway vs Cyprus
Switzerland vs Iceland
Slovenia vs Albania

Group F
Russia lost their last two matches but are still favourites as they host minnowns Luxembourg. Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal are not going to have an easy life in Northern Ireland. Israel still have hopes of qualification.

Group G
Edin Dzeko and Vedad Ibisevic look unstoppable as Bosnia and Herzegovina are close to their first ever major tournament. Greece are likely to secure the second spot.

Group H
England have only beaten San Marino and Moldova so far and experience squad problems. Montenegro, Poland and Ukraine have all set their eyes on progression.

Group I
France will need to win all the remaining games and hope for Spain loosing points to finish top of the group. Finland stole 2 points from the world champions in Gijon in March and will try to repeat that success in front of their crowd in Helsinki.
