World Cup fixtures (CAF): Egypt manager eyes win over Zimbabwe

Egypt manager Bob Bradley admitted there is no room for mistake as his side faces Zimbabwe in World Cup qualifying game.

Egypt are targeting a win in the upcoming clash with Zimbabwe in a bid to retain their 100 per cent record. The Pharaohs are currently lying comfortably at the top of Group G with six points from their two games. Despite Zimbabwe finding themselves five points behind the leaders, Egypt manager Bob Bradley is determined to avoid complacency and secure a win over the underdogs.

He said: “We’ve won nothing yet. After the Zimbabwe game we have two more games in June and everything could happen. But I believe winning on Tuesday will open the door for us to win this group and qualify to the final qualifying round. There are no margins for error in this match. Those players are very strong, mentally and technically. Playing in the World Cup is the ultimate dream for all of them.”

Egypt have not qualified for World Cup since 1990.
