Zenit defender Domenico Criscito is sidelined till the end of the season

The Italian player damaged knee ligaments on Thursday.

Italian international Domenico Criscito sustained an injury on Thursday during a friendly fixture against Siena. The player will be operated later this week and the rehabilitating may take up to eight months.

Criscito is likely to miss the second part of the season in Russia as well as Confederations Cup. Former Jeve na d Genoa player has just returned on pitch after calf problems ruled him out for four weeks.
