Aaron McLean is a striker, born on 25 May 1983 in Hammersmith, London, England.
In 1999, Aaron penned a professional contract with Leyton Orient and started to make occasional appearances for the club, but he was mainly used as a substitute during two seasons. In 2002, the footballer went on loan to Grays Athletic and netted three goals in six fixtures for the team during his spell. After McLean returned to Leyton Orient, he took his overall tally to 40 games and two goals for the team during four years.
In 2003, the striker completed a move to Aldershot Town on a two-year deal and soon became the pivot of the first squad. Aaron fired 12 goals in 68 matches for the club during two years and put pen to paper of a permanent contract with Grays Athletic in 2005. The footballer spent one year with the team and was sent on loan to Peterborough United, where he found the net four times in nine fixtures. The management of the team decided to secure McLean’s services on permanent basis in 2007 and saw him amass 66 goals in 148 games during four fruitful years.
In January 2011, the striker transferred to Hull City and went on to net 13 times in 84 matches for ‘The Tigers’. After that he was loaned to Ipswich Town and Birmingham City.
In January 2014 McLean moved to Bradford City.
From 2003 till 2006, Aaron was capped five times for England C.
