A Spanish footballer Abel Molinero Pons plays as a forward for UD Almería. Abel was born on 28 April 1989 in Madrid.
Molinero started his career at the youth academy of Atlético Madrid. He spent several years performing for the club’s youth team. Whilst studying at the academy, Abel earned important knowledge about the football and got ready to perform at a higher level.

In total, the forward netted two goals in 15 matches. The footballer didn’t get an opportunity to perform for the club’s main squad, as there was need in far more experienced players than Abel.

He made four appearances as a member of the first eleven during the 2011/2012 season. His appearances for the reserves were more frequent. Altogether, he racked up five goals in 31 matches for the B team. In the summer 2012, the forward earned the promotion to the first team of Almería.
