Adam Bodzek is a German professional football player who was born in Poland. His youth career was closely connected with two local football clubs: FC Recklinghausen and FC Erkenschwick. There he showed no impressive performance and could not expect offers from top football clubs.
Nevertheless Bodzek managed to show his best on professional level. During the first seasons Adam appeared in 53 matches and scored 11 goals for the reserve team of MSV Duisburg. It was quite a good result for a midfielder. Then receiving a professional contract was only a matter of time. Two years later he moved to another football club. In 2006 his team was relegated to the Second Bundesliga, but one year later, with the help of Adam, the club got promoted back. Frankly speaking, the 2007/08 season was rather unsuccessful for Bodzek, because he spent on the bench practically the whole year and his performance was getting worse. Moreover, on 6 August 2010 Adam got a collarbone injury of the left shoulder. That was the last straw: Adam lost all his opportunities at that football club.
In 2011 Adam signed a contract with Fortuna Düsseldorf. He fully recovered after the injury and was ready to play for the new club. From then on he has stayed with the club and netted one goal.
