Ádám Bogdán is a goalkeeper of Bolton Wanderers. He was born on 27 September 1987 in Budapest, Hungary.
Ádám’s professional career took off in Hungarian side Vasas in 2005, when the footballer penned his first senior contract with the club. However, he failed to make any appearances for the team during two seasons and sealed a two-year deal with English side Bolton Wanderers, where spent two years at the substitutes bench as well. In 2009, Bogdán went on loan to Crewe Alexandra and took part in one fixture for the temporary club during his spell, but that was enough for Bolton’s manager to take a risk and give the keeper a chance. After returning to Reebok Stadium, Ádám featured in 53 games for ‘The Trotters’ as of February 2013.
In March 2011, the footballer extended his contract with the team till 2014.
From 2007 till 2008, Bogdán took part in seven matches for the Hungary national U-21 squad. From 2011, he has been capped 13 times for the full national team.
