Adam Henley is a back of Blackburn Rovers. He was born on 14 June 1994 in Knoxville, United States.
Adam’s youth career was supposed to take off in the USA, but the footballer’s family moved to England. In 2001, Henley joined the academy of Blackburn Rovers and was asked to play for a junior squad. Adam possessed all necessary qualities to become an excellent back, and the head coach succeeded in giving the player every opportunity to develop into a real professional.
In 2011, Henley was absolutely ready to make a senior start and penned a contract with his native club. The back made five appearances during his début season, which became a really good result for a 17-year-old youngster.
In 2010, Adam was called up to the Wales national U-19 squad. In 2012, the footballer was capped for the national U-21 team.
