Adam Hloušek was born on December 20, 1988 in Turnov, Czechoslovakia.
At the age of five Adam was enlisted in SK Semily where he passed the first 6 years of his career whereat joined the youth team of FK Jablonec 97 (today’s FK Baumit Jablonec). When Adam was 17 he signed his first professional contract with the club and in the 2007/08 season he finally became the team’s first-string player.
In summer 2009, he transferred to Slavia Prague where he rarely featured in the starting line-up and in 2011 he was loaned to FC Kaiserslautern. The agreement was valid till the summer 2011 and included the option to purchase. On February 26, 2011, the striker scored his debut Bundesliga goal, the only one in the match against Hamburger SV.
The call option was not used by FC Kaiserslautern and Hloušek had to return to Slavia Prague. Then the striker transferred to FK Baumit Jablonec and immediately he was loaned back to Slavia Prague.
From the beginning of 2012 Adam has been participating in the Bundesliga tournament, representing FC Nürnberg and Stuttgart.
As an international player Hloušek appeared 6 times and scored twice for the Czech Republic U-18 national football team and 9 times and 1 goal for the U-19 squad. In 2008 the striker was capped for the U-21 national team and on October 14, 2009 Adam already made his debut for the senior international squad of Czech Republic in the 0-0 tie with the Northern Ireland national football team.
