Adam Maher is a midfielder of PSV. He was born on 20 July 1993 and has Moroccan origin.
Adam’s career took off in SV Diemen, when the young player was a child. Maher gained his first experience at the club’s training ground and moved to the youth team of AVV Zeeburgia, where he perfected his skills that helped him to be noticed by AZ scouts. In 2004 the footballer completed a move to his new home, the academy of Alkmaar Zaanstreek.
In July 2009, Adam penned his first senior contract with the club and made his début on 15 December 2010 in the Europa League match against BATE Borisov, where he managed to find the net. That goal made Maher the youngest Dutch club player ever to score in the Europa League and the UEFA Cup. The midfielder’s first Eredivisie game came on 6 March 2011.
After 66 matches for AZ Maher was lured away to PSV.
