Adrian Pukanych is a midfielder for FC Illichivets. He was born on 22 June 1983 in Vynohradiv, Ukraine.
In 2000 Pukanych joined Shakhtar-3, and stayed there for eight years. In 2001 Adrian participated in several matches of Shakhtar-2.
In 2002 Shakhtar sent Adrian on loan to Polissya Zhytomyr, where the midfielder spent half a season, scoring 2 goals in 18 matches.
In 2005 Adrian Pukanych was loaned to Illichivets, where he featured in 32 matches and managed two goals by the end of the season. In 2007 the midfielder continued his loan career at Vorskla Poltava, totaling 17 appearances in the 2007/08 season.
In 2009 Adrian Pukanych returned to FC Illichivets, but this time as a regular. At present, Adrian is a captain of Illichivets, with a total of more than 80 appearances and over 10 goals.
From 2003 to 2006 Adrian Pukanych played for Ukraine U-21, totaling 28 caps and 6 goals. From 2003 to 2004 he represented the national team of Ukraine, starting 2 matches and managing 1 goal.
