Adriano Ferreira Pinto plays at the position of right winger for Serie B side Varese. He was born on 10 December 1979 in Quinta do Sol, Brazil.
The player started his senior career in 1999 when he signed his first contract with São José Esporte Clube. Throughout two seasons he played in the reserve squad appearing on the pitch only once in the starting lineup. Such state of things did not suit a young winger because he wanted to get more playing time and more experience. No wonder that in the summer of 2002 he gladly accepted the offer from S.S. Lanciano and agreed to a contract. Over a period of two seasons from 2002 till 2004 Adriano was one of the key players of the squad appearing practically at every match. For two years with the club he netted 15 goals in 71 matches.
In 2004 Pinto moved to Italia where he signed a contract with Perugia Calcio. Throughout the 2004/05 season he was an indispensable winger for the team. The player managed to score 8 goals in 42 games. In 2005 a Brazilian player joined AC Cesena for one year making 41 total appearances and scoring 11 goals. In 2006 Ferreira signed a contract with Atalanta BC. Since 2006 the winger has been frequently appearing in the starting lineup. In 2013 the Brazilian switched to Varese.
