A Brazilian footballer Adriano Faria Pimenta plays as an attacking midfielder for Atlético Goianiense. He was born on 14 November 1982.
Adriano started out in the youth squad of Guarani FC, where he got his first playing experience. In 2000, the footballer grabbed his first pro contract, but he didn’t become a regular of the club. In 2001, the midfielder moved to Japan, where he played for Nagoya Grampus Eight. In a year, Pimenta rejoined former side Guarani, where he would stay for the next three seasons. He was used as a substitute player only and was quite unhappy with the situation.
In 2005, Adriano was happy to sign for FC Thun, which played in the Swiss Super League. In 2007, the midfielder was loaned to Japanese Yokohama FC, where he made three appearances. In 2008, Pimenta spent time trying to make the teams with Bragantino and Waitakere United.
In 2009, the player was hired by Blooming. In August 2009, he opted to join Sport Recife. Whilst playing for the club, he became the champion of the 2010 Campeonato Pernambucano. After the contract had come to an end, Adriano agreed to take the proposal from Atlético Goianiense.
