A Portuguese footballer Agostinho Odiquir Cá plays as a defensive midfielder for Barcelona B. Odiquir was born on 24 July 1993 in Bissau.
Agostinho started playing professional football in 2008, when he was picked up by Oeiras. From the moment it looked like the young player had a promising future in the game. He stayed at the club’s youth department during the 2008/2009 season playing for junior team. In 2009, Cá was selected for the youth squad of Sporting Clube de Portugal. He played for the club during the years of 2009-2012. During that time he had many successful runs with the team proving himself to be a revelation.
In 2012, his talent and wonderful performance was noticed by Barcelona B. Agostinho was obviously happy to start his life in the senior football with such a famous club. In the summer 2012, a deal was agreed and the midfielder joined the reserve team of FC Barcelona, which is currently playing in Segunda División. Odiquir debuted for the team on a match with SD Huesca that was held on 31 October 2012.
On international level, Agostinho earned 25 caps in three years for the Portugal national youth squad at U-17 and U-19 level. In 2012, the footballer took part at the UEFA European U-19 Football Competition.
