Ahmad Sedik is an Egyptian footballer currently playing as a defender for the Egyptian Premier League side Al-Ahly. He was born on 16 August 1983 in Al Fayyum, Egypt.
As a youth Ahmad played in the youth system of Al-Ahly until 2004. He signed his first professional contract with Assiut Cement in 2004. In 2006, he joined Egyptian giants Al-Ahly. It was rather hard for Sedik to break into the starting line up due to high competition at the club. That’s why he warmed the bench most of the time being used predominantly as a substitute. However, Sedik was an instrumental figure during the CAF Champions League in 2006 victory as he scored his first goal then and made several splendid assists while Mohamed Aboutreika and Mohamed Barakat had to be sidelined with injuries. All in all, he recorded three Egyptian League titles and three Super Cup trophies, as well as two African Super Cups together with Al-Ahly.
Since 2009 till 2012, Ahmad Sedik played for Ismaily but moved back to Al-Ahly in 2012 and plays for the club till today.
