An Egyptian footballer Ahmed Gaafar plays for Zamalek as a center forward. He was born on 21 December 1985 in El-Bagour.
Ahmed came from the youth ranks of Sers Ellian. In 2008, he was promoted to the senior level, after he’d signed a pro contract with Itesalat. His debut league season was lined with 11 goals scored, which made him the squad’s top scorer. Nevertheless, that turned to be not enough for the club to keep on playing in the Egyptian Premier League. In 2009, the center forward joined Zamalek. In 2010, Gaafar was already the head coach’s first choice. He finished the 2010/2011 season becoming the team’s second top scorer with 11 balls netted. It was Shikabala who was the first one with 13 goals scored.
On international level, Ahmed made one appearance for the Egyptian Military Team. But he managed to amass five goals during that match.
