Ahmed Sassi was born on 24 September 1993 in Tunisia.
Sassi began his career in the youth team Espérance Sportive de Tunis. On 2 May 2010, he debuted in the match against the African Club in the first division, when he appeared on the pitch as a substitute during the 90th minute. At the end of the season 2009/2010 season, his club won the Championship. In 2011/2012 Sassi joined TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. In the new team first he was initially a reserve player, and, in total, he had 12 appearances. However, the footballer got in the spirit of the game and netted four goals. His debut in the Regionalliga took place on 24 September 2011 in the game against FC Ingolsstadt 04 II. Sassi also plays for the U-19 and U-21, which allows him constantly to keep fit. In 2012/2013 the player was included in the first team squad. It is likely that this will allow Sassi to debut in Bundesliga.
At national level Sassi has played only for one team, U-21, appearing in four matches. Nevertheless, the footballer managed to display his qualities, such as speed and field vision. Perhaps, it will enable Ahmed to perform for Tunisia first team.
